vi ricordate quella iniziativa di raccolta delle foto di aquilonisti a scopo benefico...?? E' terminata felicemente

Hi all,
Remember late in Sept 2008 when I forwarded the call from Serafien to upload lots and lots of kite photos to their site so that they could raise funds for children's palliative care in Belgium...? AKA Members in Thailand, Ron & Baew Spaulding, just reminded me that we'd not heard the end result!
So, I asked.
And here's the result! We did good!

Indeed your photo's helped us a lot to reach our amount of 5000 foto's. On the 6th of december 2008 the benefit came to an end. Thanks to you and other great people we reached our goal with more then 6000 photo's !!! We put all the photos we got in one big photo of 'Fien' (4,00x2,00m), as a mosaic.
This action was one of a lot of things we and Serafien did during 2008. The big reason why the benefit was arranged, was to get money from the Belgian governement for palliative children who want to be at home for their last time. So that they not have to pay the bills en help at home on their own.
And we reached our goal !!!! The Belgian governements gives them about 300.000 euros on a yearly basis. Of course it's not enough but it's a big step.
Thanks for the help and the concern and sorry for my english, i hope you understand it.
